- Apply Digital Wellbeing research findings to support your program practices and protocols
- Consider common beliefs and explore recalibrated evidence-based and youth informed Digital Wellbeing beliefs and approaches
- Identify your role in supporting Digital Wellbeing environments
Your Trainer
Katherine Myers (KK) , founder and executive director of LiveMore ScreenLess is a seasoned educator with 25 years experience in the classroom. She holds a Master’s in Education. A former College Board Certified National Consultant, she prioritizes best practices for both young people and adults. KK is dedicated to fostering the wellbeing, learning, and leadership of young people by equipping adults to partner with and for young people. KK is true to the LiveMore ScreenLess mission by prioritizing her passion for lots of outdoor pursuits and playfulness - in the company of others.
Your Competency Focus Area
Each of YIPA’s trainings are designed around a broad framework of eight youth work competencies. The competency focus of this training is: COMMUNICATIONS.
Gain communication flexibility which allows you to develop healthy, productive work relationships, engage in collaborative problem solving with youth, and improve individual and group facilitation.
