- Technology and personal devices have myriad benefits. That is clear. We also know that device use is negatively impacting the wellbeing and learning of young people. It’s time for a shift toward Digital Wellbeing, a more balanced, intentional, and responsible use of technology.
- This interactive training will use evidence-based and positive youth development approaches along with research on the impacts of device use on learning and wellbeing to establish the need for Digital Wellbeing.
- Your trainer, KK Myers with LiveMore ScreenLess, will share youth voice and inspire you to play a role in supporting a shift to Digital Wellbeing at your organization.
Your Learning Objectives
- Create a shared understanding of Digital Wellbeing
- Build empathy toward young people’s experiences with technology through youth voice
- Apply Digital Wellbeing research findings to support your program
- Recalibrate beliefs and approach around device use
- Identify your role in supporting Digital Wellbeing environments
