What YIPA members are saying
Many of our staff completed YIPA’s People Centered Leadership. After, we hosted a group discussion on everyone’s main takeaways. We talked a lot about using self-reflection as a tool, encouraging a growth mindset, leaning into our values and goals, and the power of collaboration. The training is easy to access and to work at your own pace, with plenty of opportunities to self-reflect on each person’s leadership journey.
Misty Boone, Family Advocacy Program Coordinator, Harmony House
Through YIPA's "People-Centered Leadership" certificate course, I gained a stronger understanding of how to lead with empathy and intentionality. I recommend this training to anyone looking to enhance their leadership style. It provides excellent information for fostering a people-centered approach and encourages leaders to create an environment of trust and collaboration.
Heather Jensen, Training Coordinator, Children Matter Community Services
The People-Centered Leadership Training program was very thoughtful and compassionate. It gave space for me to reflect and internalize what empathetic leadership looks like, how I can use that information, and how I can implement it into my day-to-day work with youth.
Madison Mason, Youth and Family Worker, Tubman
The People-Centered Leadership Certificate Course was truly impactful. Each module shared meaningful insights and practical tools that help people lead with empathy, confidence, and purpose. While it’s designed for leaders, the lessons are valuable for anyone in a helping role who wants to support others and make a real difference. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to lead with heart and create positive change.
