Improve Your Relationship Game
Your Tool Description
Intercultural Engagement
- Interacting with people who see the world differently than you is a normal part of life. Sometimes those differences can be hard to understand, and it is easy to react without thinking it through.
- This tool introduces the COURT Framework. In sports, a court is a space where you practice and improve your skills. COURT works the same way for relationships. It gives you a space to slow down, think, and improve how you respond when interacting with others. When you use COURT, you begin to understand people more clearly and respond in ways that lead to better outcomes.
- Why It's Important: Intercultural engagement helps young people navigate a world where people think and act in different ways. Without this skill, it is easy to misunderstand others or react in ways that damage relationships. When young people build this skill, they strengthen relationships, reduce conflict, and become more confident interacting with others.
