Lara Griffin is the founder of Grounded Practice Consulting, LLC, a Minneapolis-based consulting firm that specializes in work with youth-work professionals seeking to do meaningful work in the world. Lara provides customized support to youth-serving organizations to feel grounded in their values and connected to structures that support their work. The primary services of Grounded Practice include: data and evaluation, staff training, professional development and coaching, organizational development, and program design and implementation.
Lara has worked in youth-work settings in the Twin Cities as well as in national training and technical assistance. She has held roles in direct service, program and operations management, program evaluation, training, and systems change work. She holds Master’s Degrees in Social Work (MSW) and Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. from Oberlin College. Lara is a licensed social worker (LGSW) in the state of Minnesota and a certified Social Work Supervisor.
