Dr. Verna Cornelia Price (she/her)
Dr. Verna Cornelia Price has consulted for over 20 years as a human potential expert specializing in personal power, leadership and communicating across cultures. She is the co-founder along with her husband, Brother Shane Price, of the Power of People Leadership Institute and the founder of Girls in Action (renamed Girls Taking Action). Dr Verna began her career as a youth worker and has provided leadership for the mentoring of over 5,000 youth locally, nationally, and internationally. Dr. Verna taught cultural diversity in the workplace for many years as a professor at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and has offered Communicating Across Cultures workshops to a wide range of audiences. Dr. Verna Price is also a best-selling author of multiple books including, The Power of People: Four Kinds of People Who Can Change Your Life.
