Lindsay Walz has been a youth worker for over two decades, working with youth experiencing systemic and generational trauma, as well as personal adversities. Since 2007 she has integrated her lived experience of PTSD, resulting from the collapse of the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis, with her professional training in youth development to guide individuals and communities toward deeper well-being through her person-centered approach to resilience. In 2013, Lindsay founded Courageous heARTS, a youth-led art studio which operated in south Minneapolis until 2020. She now serves as the Youth Voice Equity and Leadership Advocate at YouthLink.
