The Field of Youth Work
- Cultivating strength and courage to speak up and stand against injustice has always been challenging. But in a world of increasing conflict, fear can cause us to shut down, ignore, or even deny our values and our true selves.
- Learning how to be able to be true to yourself when it’s possible and teaching young people to be true to themselves is critical to creating real change in the world.
- This discussion will provide insights and ideas to help you cultivate inner strength and courage and share those skills with young people.

- Gain an understanding of the dynamics of fear of the other and how those fuel injustices
- Build awareness strategies to gain insight into your values and what motivates you to speak up or shut down
- Learn how to be true to yourself and teach young people to be true to themselves
- Gain tools to help young people process conflict and injustice
